Porcelain Tile Floor Inlay
Signature Research of Calumet, Michigan is a technology-based company with a broad range of capabilities, specializing in signature modeling and analysis, operations analysis, image and signal processing and software development, and experience in test and evaluation.
Problem: We were looking for someone to cut a floor inlay out of porcelain tile for a project in our office. The cuts had to be extraordinarily accurate given the size/shape of our floor and 1/8” grout lines. We were also nervous about the return shipment of the finished tiles since we wouldn’t be able to easily make a replacement.
Solution: All of our concerns were alleviated when the wooden crate came to our door. The packaging was amazing. The wood crate and shrink wrapped tiles were perfect. You would be hard pressed to find a better way to ship delicate tiles. All of the tiles were perfectly labeled according to our layout diagram, which made installation much easier. And of course, all the tiles fit just as planned.
