Much
of what we do for the military/defense market is proprietary
in nature. We are unable to divulge facts or photographs of
these parts.

This simple flange assembly is just one of
many things that we typically cut. What sets it apart is the
wire screen, which needed to be precisely fabricated. The
aluminum wire screen had to be cut to shape and bolt holes
had to be drilled; plus, the finished part had to be burr
and distortion free. To try and produce this screen by any
other method would have resulted in a rejected part or would
have required special set-up jigs to hold the material. Waterjet
cutting was the preferred method for these parts because
it eliminated all of the potential problems and possible danger
to an operator in the fabrication process.
