Interlocking Rubber Floor Mats

Sometimes the manufactured sizes and shapes of commercial rubber floor tile are just not conducive to installing the final layout. Here at JIT Companies we were able to customize the customer’s supplied material with a seamless, interlocking joint. In a wall to wall application, the large, 4 ft. X 6 ft. X 1/2 inch, rubber floor tile left a one foot gap around the perimeter of the room. The JIT Waterjet technology department was able to translate the interlock pattern into CNC language and test cut a sample of the material.
The JIT Waterjet test cut demonstrated a net fit edge and finally provided a seamless inlay for this rubber floor tile installation, including the interlocking edge .
