Reproduction Fishing Lure
This
was a first for JIT. This company is bringing back old fishing
lures that grandpa probably used to catch that big muskie.
Some of you probably would be millionaires if you would have
saved all of those old lures, as they are becoming quite a
collectable. JIT’s part of the project was to fabricate
the stainless steel “flipper” that creates the
splashing noise that irritates the fish into striking the
lure. This part was designed from an original lure, drawn
to size by our technology department and then cut with a waterjet.
After cutting, the parts were then put into our centrifuge
polishing equipment. This process resulted in a uniform mirror
finish with smooth edges. (No, we haven’t tried to catch
anything with it. It’s too nice to risk losing!)
