This customer was looking for a specialty job shop to fabricate a sign for the reception area of their corporate Marketing Department. They wanted the Aluminum sign to have a three dimensional effect. One of their employees referred them to JIT Companies. Upon initial contact with JIT they were impressed with JIT's knowledge of the fabrication techniques involved in their project. They met with JIT one-on-one to review the finer details associated with the fabrication process. The final result was a sign made from ¼” Aluminum. All parts of the sign received a brushed finish. The letters had a Black Anodize applied, and the swirl received a Matte Clear Coat. JIT also drilled, tapped and provided standoffs for the installation. The customer was also provided a paper template to use as a guide during the installation process.

Bramsted
This
customer wanted a very unique sign for their new offices,
which reflected the type of industry that they serve (Recording
Studio). Their design staff created a very challenging design,
which required specific elements to be incorporated in the
finished product. Their problem was that they were unable
to find a single source to produce the design within a set
budget and short, seven-day, lead-time. JIT is an innovator
in using waterjets in different ways than what they were intended;
in this case, milling instead of cutting completely through
the material. This gave the milled letter areas of the design
the texture they were looking for. The center logo is made
up of milled lines representing an osiloscope reading. Again,
due to the size of the piece and the artwork that was used,
waterjet milling was the preferred method in accomplishing
this project. JIT also went the extra mile to provide the
metal patina that gives this sign its one-of-a-kind look.
This was a complete turnkey project in which JIT even arranged
for the installation to meet the deadline for the studio's
grand opening.
