Lake Assault Fishing Boats

fishing boats that are manufactured by Lake Assault Boats
is one of the most sturdy sport fishing boats that we’ve
seen. Its most prominent feature is the 3/16" thick aluminum
that is used in its construction. The manufacturer came to
us with certain requirements in order to produce the heavy
aluminum parts that make up the structure. The material for
this project was laid out and tightly nested on full sheets
of material that measure 60” x 288” and waterjet
cut to precise specs. Because of the new technology that JIT
has invested in, our new Dynamic cutter can cut through several
sheets of material at the same time with no edge taper, resulting
in all identical parts from the top layer to the bottom. Break
lines are then etched in the material with the waterjet to
aid in the forming of the pieces after cutting. All of these
parts are then break formed and welded resulting in a rivet-less,
rigid boat.
